ROBERT HERRERA

Robert Herrera is a Mexican American filmmaker born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas.  In 2011, he directed, shot, and edited the feature-length documentary, The Gray Seasons, which is currently available on EPIX and Amazon Prime.  In 2017, Robert made his first narrative feature, Palacios, that went on to win critical acclaim and dozens of awards on the festival circuit before being picked up for distribution in 2018.

 

Robert is a 2020 Sundance Feature Film Fellow, a grant recipient from the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation, and an SFFILM Westridge Grant winner with his latest screenplay, Pink Casa, which is currently in development.  He is also in the process of shooting his latest feature documentary.  He lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife and daughter.
