DAN DE LORENZO

Dan began his career in New York performing and directing comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) while attending the School of Visual Arts, where he earned a BFA in Film/TV Directing. 

In New York, Dan directed dozens of comedy sketches and music videos for UCB house teams, CollegeHumor, and FunnyorDie.  In 2012, he was nominated for a "Best Comedy Short" Webby for his viral video, “The Man Without a Facebook."

Dan went on to direct Buzzfeed's most successful branded series, "Puppyhood," which currently has over 250 million views.  While at BuzzFeed, Dan also worked with their most popular unscripted franchise talent, The Try Guys, and developed and directed several successful branded campaigns with them.  Most recently, Dan's been directing two top ranked shows for Brat TV - Stage Fright and Chicken Girls.

 

Dan's commercial clients include Purina, Gillette, Honda, Ford, Warner Bros, Amazon, Kia, the CW, NBC Universal, Lifetime, Comcast Xfinity and more.  He lives in Los Angeles.
