René is an award winning Director, Cinematographer and Editor who's traveled the world shooting and editing hundreds of documentaries, commercials and music videos. He first honed his skills at the Danish Broadcasting Corp in Copenhagen where he shot and edited countless TV shows and travel docs.

René shot and edited the acclaimed feature “THE RED CHAPEL” filmed in North Korea that won best doc at Sundance 2010 and was co-producer, co-editor and DP on the “THE WOLFPACK” that won again at Sundance 2015. He's also directed dozens of music videos and won best “Hip Hop Video of the Year” twice at the Danish National Awards. In 2016 he directed the video for the grammy nominated smash “7 YEARS” by Lukas Graham that has over 500 million views on YouTube.  René currently splits his time between LA and Copenhagen.
