Morgan is an LA Based Director and Cinematographer who's been shooting and directed documentary television since the early 2000's. In 2008 he was incredibly fortunate to begin working with Anthony Bourdain on “No Reservations” and then “Parts Unknown” as a Cinematographer and Director. In the 10 amazing years that followed, Morgan shot or directed sixty shows in fifty countries on seven continents, and in the process, learned to be nimble, adaptive and true to his subject and to always push the conventions of storytelling.
Morgan's been nominated for 7 Emmys and won two - one for Nonfiction Cinematography for "Lagos" (which he also directed) and another for Nonfiction Directing / Producer for "West Virginia." He Lives in LA with his wife Gillian and their two kids, August and Iris.
